Donate Life Illinois’ very own Morgan D’Organ (our official Mascot) is embarking on a very special mission this April for National Donate Life Month. In conjunction with other donation mascots from around the country, Morgan and his team are training up to lead a campaign called Mascots On A Mission – www.MascotMission.com. The purpose of this mission? To encourage others to register as lifesaving organ/tissue donors.

THE GREAT D’ORGAN GIVEAWAY!
THE GREAT D’ORGAN GIVEAWAY is a two-month campaign to engage Illinois workplaces in helping Morgan register employees in the Illinois Organ/Tissue Donor Registry. This campaign has three easy steps:
Step 1 – Leave Words of Encouragement (March 1-31)
Follow the Mascots on a Mission Blog at MascotMission.com and drop Morgan some words of encouragement in the comments section during the month of March. As this is a national campaign, be sure to let Morgan know you’re from Illinois in the comments. In appreciation of the support, Morgan will select five random winners each week to receive their very own mini-Morgan!
Step 2 – Test your knowledge (March 15-26)
Every employee is in need of a little extra training. Follow Morgan D’Organ’s training progress and you’re your organ/tissue donation knowledge with Morgan’s Training Quiz (Note: Quiz will be available here between March 15-26). The company with the most participating employees will win a special Mascots On A Mission prize!
Step 3 – Help a Mascot Out (April 1-30)
And most importantly, once the official training is over, Morgan D’Organ will need to put those new skills to work. Help out your favorite organ donation mascot by hosting a virtual registration drive. The virtual registration drive is a quick and easy way for employees to join the Illinois Organ/Tissue Donor Registry. Click here for the template e-mail with a direct link to the registry for you to forward on to all of your employees. The company with the most registrations between April 1-30 will gain statewide recognition for their lifesaving efforts. Morgan D’Organ also will provide a special token of appreciation for all employees that join the registry from the winning company.
